Stopping Domestic Violence Starts In the Tank

So, I come home friday to find that four of my female fish had been victims of domestic violence. Yes, fish can be victims of domestic violence too. Its seems that my big male (his name is Jaws) took out his "frustations" (you know what kind of "frustations" I'm talking about) on the women. WHAT A BASTARD!!!!

Anyways, after about $70 dollars in medication and a flower pot, the females are getting better and have a place to hide. I call the flower pot "The Battered Women's Shelter". That may be in poor taste, I'm sorry, but its true.

But let me tell you about Jaws. Jaws is a great big Green Terror. He is the best looking fish I have ever had. His got long streaming fins with white fringes and his body has a beautiful blue tint. This brings me to the relevation. WATCH OUT FOR THE PRETTY ONES!!!! THEY'LL MESS YOU UP!!!!

Hey, kind of scary how universal that is ain't it. Think about it, there must be some kind of genetic defect that makes animals attractive and makes them total asses at the same time.

Now I want to discipline Jaws, but you can't really spank a fish. I was thinking about reporting the violence to the police, but then I realized "HE'S A FISH!!!" I was thinking about making him a fished sized white wife beater and make him wear it (I hope you find humour in that), but I don't really want to touch the fish to put it on him. So what did I do, I throw in some little fish to distract him from the females. These are the red-headed step children of the fish world. The fun thing is the little ones aren't taking his crap and a fighting back. SERVES HIM RIGHT!!!!
